We are a misc. metal fabrication and powder coating shop in Frederick, Colorado, providing structural steel, balconies, stairs, and various other items to jobs across the state. We strive for a positive culture and to provide a great place to work and we want to continue growing the company from the great foundation we are on. MHMW is seeking entry-level and experienced Installers for structural steel and miscellaneous metals.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a construction setting Must be able to work up to 10-hour days beginning at 7:00 a.m. (Schedule may fluctuate) Able to pass welding procedures certifications for 3G/4G SMAW Able to interpret steel details and shop drawings. Due to the importance of safety in this position, all applicants must be fluent in English. Fluency requires the ability to speak, read, write, and understand English. Must pass a pre-employment physical Not Required but helpful: Able to pass welding procedures certifications for 3G/4G SMAW Able to interpret steel details and shop drawings. Recent experience with material-handling equipment (forklifts, manlifts, etc.)
Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance on every job site throughout the installation process. Must be willing to respond to multiple tasks as required. Support the Lead Installer by preparing materials, tools, and equipment needed for efficient installation workflow. Represent Mile High Metal Works professionally in all customer and site interactions, maintaining a positive and respectful presence. Execute all assigned installation tasks with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring work meets specifications and quality standards. Complete all assigned work within project timelines to support the Lead Installer in achieving on-time project completion. Maintain quality standards for all work performed within the company and job sites.
