At Z2 Motorsports, we specialize in high-end restorations, restomods, and custom vehicle builds that combine classic style with modern performance. We are looking for an experienced Automotive Fabricator who takes pride in craftsmanship, problem-solving, and building exceptional vehicles from the ground up. This is not production work. Every project is unique and requires creativity, precision, and a commitment to quality. What You'll Do As an Automotive Fabricator, you will be responsible for designing, modifying, and fabricating components for custom vehicle builds. You'll work closely with our team to transform classic vehicles into modern, reliable, high-performance machines. Responsibilities Fabricate custom sheet metal, brackets, mounts, panels, and structural components Modify body panels, floors, firewalls, trunk floors, and inner structures as required Perform weld-in body panel replacement Fit and align body panels, bumpers, trim, and custom components Perform chassis modifications and vehicle fitment work Install and modify aftermarket suspension, drivetrain, braking, and steering systems Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum Create clean, professional welds and finishes suitable for high-end builds Work closely with project managers and technicians to execute build plans Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment Ensure all fabrication meets our standards for quality, durability, and appearance Why Join Z2 Motorsports? Required 3+ years of automotive fabrication experience Strong MIG welding skills Ability to accurately measure, cut, fit, and fabricate components Experience with fabrication equipment including brakes, shears, tubing benders, notchers, grinders, and metal shaping tools Ability to solve complex fitment and fabrication challenges independently Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Valid driver's license Preferred TIG welding experience Experience building restomods, street rods, muscle cars, or custom vehicles Chassis and suspension fabrication experience Sheet metal shaping and metal finishing skills Experience with aftermarket performance components Knowledge of classic American vehicles and restoration techniques Basic operations of Mills and Lathes The ideal candidate is a craftsman who enjoys creating solutions, takes pride in their work, and understands that every detail matters. You should be comfortable working on projects where there is no instruction manual and where creativity, precision, and experience are required to achieve exceptional results.
