General Laborer - Clearing work areas, loading and unloading materials, sorting material, and assisting skilled tradespeople to keep projects running efficiently and safely. About Us! We own, operate, and maintain a fleet of over 200 vehicles including front loaders, roll-offs, side arms, tractors, and trailers. Additionally, CWPM owns and operates 5 State of CT DEEP permitted transfer stations in Berlin, Plainville, Bozrah, Southington and New London, as well as operate municipal owned facilities. Qualifications Working Conditions:
Extreme tolerance for outdoor environments, including severe weather, dust, heavy machinery noise, and foul odors.
Physical Strength:
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended shifts, with a regular requirement to lift 50 lbs or more unassisted.
Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Safety Oriented:
Strict adherence to site safety rules, including proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage
