Eligibility for benefits may vary by location and is determined by employment status Job Summary Per Diem, Nights Position Summary A Unit Support Technician is responsible and accountable for the delivery of nursing supportive patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. A Unit Support Technician is responsible and accountable for assisting the RN in the provision of patient care and tending to the unit needs as assigned by the RN. Responsibilities Ensures safe transportation of patients and specimens according to department policy and procedures on a daily basis as assigned by nursing team Maintains department equipment and organization of supply room Maintains and organizes cleanliness and organization of patient rooms Demonstrates good communication skills. Utilizes appropriate interpersonal skills as outlined in the Standards on Conduct and in accordance with customer service initiatives. QualificationsEDUCATION
Minimum:
High School graduate or equivalentEXPERIENCE
Previous healthcare experience preferred.REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION
