Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Entry Level Truss Welder and kick-start your career in the manufacturing and construction industry! In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and welding structural components, primarily focusing on truss fabrication for building projects. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your welding skills, gain hands-on experience with fabrication processes, and work alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Use MIG welding techniques to weld structural steel components together. Operate power tools, hand tools, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. Measure materials using a tape measure to ensure proper fit and alignment. Conduct quality checks on welded joints and assembled structures using basic math skills and mechanical knowledge. Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols on the manufacturing floor. Qualifications Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated entry-level candidates eager to learn. Basic understanding of blueprint reading and technical drawings is a plus. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools. Knowledge of MIG welding techniques is required; certification is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
MUST PASS A WELD TEST!
Ability to use a tape measure accurately. Strong attention to detail with basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Pay:
$14.00 - $20.00 per hour
