Posted 06/2026 Job Description Job Summary JMC Aviation is working with a leading aviation MRO organisation to recruit experienced T56 Mechanics to join their growing engine shop team in Miami, Florida. This opportunity is with an FAA Part 145 repair station supporting both military and commercial customers globally. As a T56 Mechanic, you will be responsible for supporting the overhaul and repair of
T56 / 501D
engines within a dedicated engine shop environment. engine modules and components Perform visual and dimensional inspections in accordance with OEM manuals and approved data Support hot section and power section inspections and repairs Carry out work on engine accessories, components, and module overhaul activities Ensure all work is completed in compliance with FAA Part 145 regulations and company procedures Maintain accurate documentation in line with quality standards Required Qualifications & Experience Previous experience working on turboprop aircraft engines (T56 / 501D preferred) Experience in engine overhaul, repair, or engine shop maintenance Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and documentation Experience working within an MRO or engine repair environment Additional Information Employment is contingent upon successful completion of applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include background screening and/or drug testing, where permitted by law This position requires the ability to work in a shop environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting components in line with safety guidelines Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship Equal Opportunity Statement JMC Aviation is an equal opportunity employer.
