Key Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years of proven Ironworker or structural steel experience preferred.

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Experience assembling, erecting, aligning, bolting, welding, and securing structural steel, beams, and columns.

Working knowledge of rigging, hoists, cranes, and proper load-handling procedures.

Knowledge of welding, cutting, grinding, and steel installation techniques.

Must be comfortable working at heights on structural steel, scaffolding, and aerial lifts.

Ability to safely work around cranes, suspended loads, rigging operations, and heavy equipment.

Must understand and follow fall-protection and jobsite safety procedures.

Must be physically capable of lifting and handling heavy materials, climbing, bending, standing, and performing strenuous work throughout the shift.

Must be able to work outdoors in heat, humidity, rain, and changing weather conditions.

Must have a clean background and be eligible to obtain/access a U.S. Navy installation.

OSHA, welding, rigging, lift, or other applicable construction certifications are preferred.

Must have reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Must be able to work Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.

Must be safety-conscious and able to follow strict Navy base and company safety requirements.

Must work effectively with supervisors, crane operators, equipment operators, and other members of the construction crew.
