Job Title Welder Combination Maintenance II Location Panama City Beach, FL 32408 US (Primary) Job Type Full-time Education Some College Coursework Completed Career Level Experienced (Non-Manager) Category Engineering Job Description EPS Corporation is seeking a motivated and dedicated seeking a skilled and dependable Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints, fabricating metal components, and performing high-quality welding to meet project specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Requirements Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders. Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal materials according to specifications. Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Operate fabrication equipment, including saws, grinders, drill presses, plasma cutters, and press brakes. Inspect completed welds and fabricated components to ensure quality standards are met. Repair or modify existing metal structures and equipment as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials when necessary. Perform routine maintenance on welding and fabrication equipment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of 2 years of welding and fabrication experience (or equivalent training). Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG and Stick welding experience is a plus. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings. Strong measuring and layout skills. Knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and shop equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license preferred. Preferred Qualifications Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent). Experience with structural steel, custom fabrication, or heavy equipment repair. Forklift or overhead crane experience. Physical Requirements Frequently stand, bend, kneel, and lift materials throughout the workday. Work in varying temperatures and industrial environments. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including welding helmet, gloves, eye protection, and steel-toed boots.
