Manufacturing Full Job Description Description:
PURPOSE As a Fabricator, you will play a critical role in bringing designs to life by transforming raw materials into finished products. Your expertise in fabrication techniques and commitment to quality will directly contribute to the successful completion of projects and the satisfaction of our clients.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Service Delivery (80%) Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create parts and ensure implementation according to welding specifications. Operate Lathe and Mill machine to manufacture wear parts for plant machinery. Fabricate and manufacture metal parts for assembly. Operate various hand and power tools to complete tasks. Perform all welding work with help of forming and cutting equipment. Perform welding of various metal objects with help of gas torch and welder. Maintain weld machines using preventative maintenance methods. Evaluate weld machine performance regularly. Maintain inventory of manufacturing product and welding consumables. Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards. Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified. Rework and/or repair welded parts and products according to specification changes. Maintain a safe and healthful work environment by practicing safe work habits, good housekeeping procedures and adhering to safety guidelines. Wear appropriate protective equipment as required and in accordance with safety policies and OSHA standards. Assist with housekeeping and provide support in other areas as required. Other job-related duties and special projects as assigned? Continuous Process Improvement (10%) Maintain SLAs and build a culture of continuous improvement? Collaboration and Research (10%) Collaborate with corporate functions across the board to ensure any required changes to policies, procedures, and processes are implemented Collaborate with data owners/stewards to align on process and data issues Respond to questions and follow up on pertinent escalations

Determines how to operationalize processes in alignment with strategic vision Utilizes knowledge of manufacturing operations to drive consistency in operations Uses organizational skills and attention to detail; performs detailed work with speed and accuracy Demonstrates a positive attitude, energy and professionalism

Requirements:

Education:
Associate Technical Degree preferred
Experience:
5 to 10 years in the precast or manufacturing process

Other Key Skills:
2-3 years of relevant professional experience preferred Manufacturing Industry Background preferred Professionalism, dependability, commitment, and integrity Ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail, operational facilitation, detailed collaboration, and effective communication
