Bremen, GA (Travel Required)
Job Type:
Full-Time Join Our Team Elite Welding Services is seeking a dependable and skilled Structural Steel Erector to join our field installation team. Our projects are located throughout the region, and this position requires travel to various job sites. The ideal candidate has experience working with structural steel, enjoys hands-on field work, and takes pride in safely and efficiently installing quality steel structures. Responsibilities Install structural steel components according to project specifications and drawings. Assist with the erection, alignment, fitting, and securing of structural steel members. Read and interpret blueprints, erection drawings, and jobsite instructions. Perform layout, measuring, fitting, and adjustments as needed during installation. Assist with bolting, welding, and other steel installation activities. Operate lifts, forklifts, and other jobsite equipment when trained and qualified. Use hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment safely. Assist with material handling, loading, unloading, and positioning of steel components. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and jobsite requirements. Work efficiently with crew members to complete projects safely and on schedule. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in structural steel erection, construction, or a related field preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and erection drawings. Experience with steel installation, rigging, and material handling. Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, or other heavy equipment is a plus. Ability to work at heights and in various outdoor conditions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
