Job Description

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Shop Hand to join our growing metal fabrication team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to build a career in the metal fabrication industry. Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right individual who has a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
Assist fabricators and welders with daily shop operations Prepare, move, and organize steel, aluminum, and other materials Operate hand and power tools safely Grind, deburr, clean, and finish fabricated parts Load and unload materials and finished products Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Assist with equipment maintenance and shop upkeep Perform other shop-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn Ability to read a tape measure and use basic hand tools Capable of lifting 50+ pounds and standing for extended periods Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment Previous fabrication, welding, construction, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required Valid driver's license is preferred
Pay:
$15.00 - $25.00 per hour
