Experienced Steel Erector

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Experienced Steel Erector to join our growing construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and securing pre-engineered steel structures on various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure the safety, precision, and efficiency of steel installation, contributing to the successful completion of large-scale building developments. Key Responsibilities:

Install pre-engineered metal building systems, including walls, roofs, and structural steel components Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble steel components Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Conduct inspections of completed work for quality assurance; utilize schematics and blueprints to verify accuracy during assembly Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet project timelines

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years proven construction site experience with a focus on steel erection or fabrication projects Ability to read complex blueprints and schematics confidently Extensive experience with hand tools and power tools Experience operating cranes, forklifts, rigging gear, and other heavy machinery safely on-site Knowledge of and strong commitment to safety standards and best practices (OSHA 30 preferred but not required for hire). Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights (up to 50 feet or more) Willingness to work in varying weather conditions Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites absolutely required Strong work ethic and a team-oriented attitude Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG and stick not required, but would be helpful from time to time Strong math skills Equal Opportunity Employment Argyle Project Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
