Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Welder specializing in MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) with stainless steel fabrication experience. This role will be working within a warehouse setting & involves working on diverse building projects that require precision welding, interpretation of technical drawings, and adherence to strict safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in metal fabrication with Stainless Steel, construction site work, and mechanical blueprint interpretation, contributing to the successful completion of complex fabrication tasks across various industries. Duties Perform
MIG, TIG, FCAW
(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) on a variety of metals including sheet metal, ductwork, piping, and structural components. Must have Stainless Steel Fabrication experience Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute fabrication and assembly tasks. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and schematics to measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal components with precision. Operate fabrication equipment such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, and pipe threading tools to meet project specifications. Ensure all welding activities comply with AWS (American Welding Society) standards and ASME codes & standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols related to rigging, crane operation, forklift handling, and general shop safety. Collaborate with team members on mechanical fabrication projects involving assembly, pipe fitting, soldering, and mechanical knowledge application. Inspect completed welds for quality assurance using calipers, micrometers, and visual inspection techniques; rectify defects as necessary. Assist in the interpretation of technical schematics for ductwork fabrication, metal assembly, and construction site requirements. Support manufacturing processes by machining parts as needed and utilizing shop math for precise measurements. Experience 3-5 yrs. Welding with Stainless Steel 3-5 years experience welding metal building frames on construction sites or in fabrication shops with a strong background in metal welding using MIG, TIG, FCAW, and SMAW techniques. Demonstrated ability to read mechanical blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with ASME codes & standards for pressure vessels or piping systems is preferred. Experience operating equipment such as press brakes, plasma cutters, pipe threading machines, forklifts, and power tools. Knowledge of mechanical fabrication processes including sheet metal fabrication, ductwork assembly, pipe fitting, rigging, and machining. Strong understanding of construction site safety practices related to welding operations. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and fabrication tolerances confidently. Prior experience adhering to AWS standards for welding quality assurance in a manufacturing or construction environment is highly desirable.
Pay:
$20-$22/Hr. Paid Weekly & Temp to
