Job Description
We are hiring for a couple rebar reinforcement laborers in Winder, GA . This highly physical role requires lifting heavy steel, cutting, bending, and securing it in place Responsibilities/ Duties
- Sets up machinery properly.
- Performs checks on completed orders.
- Accurately measures and cuts rebar according to orders/ specs.
- Assists in loading orders onto company and customer trucks.
- Adheres to all safety procedures and policies according to company and OSHA standards.
- Maintains a neat and organized work area.
- Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/ Abilities
- Ability to accurately and safely operate equipment
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong multi-tasking and project management skills Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous rebar or construction experience preferred Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods standing
- Physical mobility to climb stairs, push and pull, and operate machinery
- Ability to withstand working in extreme weather conditions (heat and cold)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
