Fabricator

SALARY:
$20-30 per hour (Depending on experience)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Fabricator to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate has experience fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components used in an industrial manufacturing environment. Successful candidates are safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and take pride in producing high-quality work while working independently and as part of a team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING
Fabricate, assemble, modify, and repair metal components and equipment used throughout the facility. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and work orders. Measure, mark, cut, bend, and fit steel and other metals to required specifications. Operate fabrication equipment including welders, plasma cutters, oxy-fuel torches, band saws, drill presses, grinders, ironworkers, and other shop equipment. Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding as required. Repair damaged equipment, structures, and production machinery. Assist with installation of new equipment and plant improvements. Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications. Maintain tools, equipment, and fabrication shop in a clean and organized condition. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous fabrication, welding, or metalworking experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings. Experience using measuring tools, layout tools, and precision measuring equipment. Proficiency with MIG, TIG, and stick welding preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to safely operate fabrication and welding equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as needed.
