Sheet Metal Technician Schedule:

7:00 AM - 3:30

PM, Monday-Friday Pay:

$18-$22/hr Overview Hands-on role assisting plumbing, HVAC, and sheet‑metal crews in the shop and on job sites. Provides exposure to metal fabrication, ductwork installation, trade tools, safety practices, and basic blueprint/layout skills. Great for individuals exploring the trades or preparing for an apprenticeship. Responsibilities Assist with sheet‑metal fabrication, assembly, and installation. Support ductwork measuring, cutting, and fitting. Help with plumbing and HVAC tasks as needed. Use basic hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. Follow all safety procedures and maintain clean work areas. Move materials, tools, and equipment to support crews. Perform general labor in both shop and field environments. Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical labor throughout the day. Comfortable working indoors/outdoors and in varied conditions. High school diploma or equivalent; must be 18+. Work Environment Active construction sites and busy shop settings. Requires physical stamina, working at heights or in tight spaces, and standing for long periods. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
