Job Description

Millcreek Metals is a premier metal recycling company servicing the Intermountain West region. Part of the Metro Group family, Millcreek Metals is committed to providing quality customer service coupled with integrity. Our experience is second to none; and over the years we have worked with thousands of customers, from local residents with a few pounds of cans to large companies with truckloads of scrap material. Currently, Millcreek Metals seeking a Scrap Processor/Buyer.
Basic Job Duties:
Greets and helps unload scrap metal from customers Identifies and sorts different types of materials Must be courteous and patient with employees and customers Helps with housekeeping during down times Must be willing to fill at other tasks when needed and performing only those jobs on which they have been trained Must be willing to work in the weather conditions Responsible for observing and following all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to provide quality customer service Forklift operating experience Must have steel toed boots 1 year of customer service experience required Excellent interpersonal skills Analytical and problem solving skills Understand computer basics
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and work on your feet for extended periods of time The employee occasionally is required to lift up to 50 lbs
