Temp-to-Hire Job Summary:

Gem State Staffing in Pocatello is now hiring a full-time MIG Welder for a growing company in Pocatello, Idaho . This is a hands-on, physically active role that involves metal work, welding, general labor, and shop support .

What You'll Do:

Weld and cut metal pipe (MIG or aluminum welding preferred, but not required) Operate saws and basic shop equipment Assist with flipping gates and moving materials Hand-load gates, posts, and clips (up to 75 lbs) Cut blocks, throw boards, and perform heavy lifting Operate a forklift (training available) Perform general shop upkeep and weed control Support daily shop and yard operations

What We're Looking For:

Must be 18 years or older Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Able to lift, push, pull up to 75 lbs regularly Willingness to bend, twist, stoop , and work on your feet all day Must pass a pre-employment drug screen Shop experience or welding background is a plus, but not required Comfortable working in outdoor and industrial settings Dependable, self-motivated, and eager to learn
