Structural Steel Truck Driver / General Laborer - We are looking for Flatbed Haulers, not Box Trailer haulers.

Full-Time {First Shift}
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Truck Driver with a Class A CDL (No Restrictions) to join our team. This role includes hauling structural steel loads to jobsites and vendors. When driving work is not available, you will assist in the shop or yard as a General Laborer. Key Responsibilities
  • Driving (Primary Role) o Deliver fabricated structural or miscellaneous steel to jobsites o Ensure loads are properly secured and DOT compliant o Complete pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections o Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork o Communicate effectively with supervisors, and field crews
  • General Laborer (Secondary Role) o Assist with loading and unloading materials o Help organize and clean the shop and yard o Support shop personnel with basic labor tasks o Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and/or equipment (training provided)
Qualifications Required:
  • Class A CDL with No Restrictions (Required)
  • Clean driving record; must pass DOT drug/alcohol testing
  • 2+ years' experience in hauling fabricated structural steel or oversized loads preferred
  • Reliable, safety‑driven, and willing to perform general labor tasks as needed Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. as needed.
  • Standing, sitting, bending, and walking throughout the shift.
  • Working in shop conditions (noise, heat, steel handling, PPE). Compensation & Benefits

Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 55.0 per week
