Job Description
BMG of Kansas, Inc., a metal manufacturing company in Hesston, KS, has an opportunity for a metal fabricator to join our team. Fabricators will work with CNC system machines, specifically our sheet metal laser machines, to complete tasks. Applicants may need to demonstrate competence in skills prior to job hire. Essential duties and responsibilities include (but may not be limited to): The employee is responsible for reading, interpreting, and verifying blueprints and assembly instructions Fabricate and assemble structural metal parts Position parts and sub-assemblies Resolve assembly and production issues (as needed) Operate heavy equipment cranes to move material from one station to another and throughout manufacturing process The employee is responsible for keeping tools and equipment in good working order The employee must maintain proper product counts and report them as required Regular attendance is required Abides by all company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations Ensure working environment is clean and safe
