Iron Worker

Ironworkers needed for our structural erection crews. Job duties include setting columns, swinging joist and beams and laying deck. Fit up and alignment tools required for this position. Other duties may include installing hand rails, mezzanines, stairs and other miscellaneous steel. Work is in the commercial and industrial settings. Benefits include a sponsored health insurance program, paid life insurance, vacation and holiday pay. Most work is located in the Kentucky-Tennessee region, but traveling will be required.

Required Skills:

• Layout, fabricate and erect per drawings.
• Operating equipment
• forklifts, man lifts, etc.
• Welding experience
• MIG and stick.
• Rigging experience
• both light and heavy.
• Working knowledge of cutting torches and other standard fabrication tools.
• Can lift and carry 75lb.
• Stand, kneel, bend, stoop and move around comfortably in confined spaces.
• Full range of motion required.
• Work up to 12-hour shifts doing physical labor.
• Saturday and Sunday work will be expected.
