Every role makes an impact. Here's what it takes to make yours count. 2 years of experience working in a shop environment Able to lift 50 lbs. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong math and measuring skills, including basic trigonometry Knowledge of welding and metal forming processes preferred Ability to lift materials and work in a manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Key Responsibilities:

Fabricate and assemble structural metal products, frameworks, shells, and sheet metal components according to blueprints, work orders, and verbal instructions Develop layouts and plan fabrication sequences using knowledge of metal properties, welding shrinkage, stock allowances, and basic trigonometry Measure, locate, and mark bending and cutting lines on materials Set up and operate fabrication equipment including welders, press brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, and drill presses Design and build templates, jigs, and fixtures to support fabrication processes Inspect finished workpieces and verify conformance to specifications using measuring tools such as squares, rulers, and tape measures Operate shop equipment including radial drill presses, lathes, CNC machines, and punch presses as needed Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment More Than Just a Paycheck.
