Full Job Description Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator with some welding experience to support production in a metal fabrication environment. This role involves working closely with welders, assisting with material preparation, and performing various fabrication tasks.

Responsibilities:

Assist welders by moving materials and completing post-weld preparation Perform fabrication tasks including tube bending and plasma cutting Complete tack welds and assist with semi-automatic welding processes Use hand tools to form tubing, fasten components, deburr edges, and prepare products for shipment Fit, tack, and weld assemblies made from aluminum and stainless steel Work with rolled cylinders and ensure compliance with welding codes and specifications Position parts using jigs and fixtures to ensure proper alignment and dimensions Follow work orders and verbal instructions accurately Maintain a safe and organized work environment Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if needed)

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience with aluminum seam welding Experience with mechanical assembly or metal forming preferred Ability to read and understand work orders and instructions Knowledge of general shop practices and safety procedures Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
