Summary We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker I to join our manufacturing team in the Blade Manufacturing Department. This role is vital in supporting our mission to produce durable, high-quality cutlery that meets the needs of professionals worldwide. Based at our facility, you will contribute to maintaining our tradition of excellence by cutting and delivering steel to proper presses according to daily production needs. Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory records for all incoming and outgoing steel Unload sheet/coil steel during deliveries Operate mechanical shear to cut sheets to proper width for blanking Remove scrap steel from machines and place in outdoor roll off containers Manual belt finishing Collaborate with team members to meet production targets. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Complete any other duties assigned by supervisor or department manager Qualifications Prior experience in manufacturing or factory settings preferred. Must be able to obtain Class A license for material handling vehicles including forklift and high lift trucks (will train) Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Physical ability to perform manual tasks and stand for extended periods as well as the ability to lift 40 lbs. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Must have good mathematical skills. Strong ability to work as a team. Strong ability to multitask. Able to comply with quality standards and production priorities. Prior machining experience. Must be able to speak, read, and write in English which is the required language of the position.
