Job Description

Tuscola Behavioral Health Systems (TBHS) has been providing services within Tuscola County since 1974. As the Community Mental Health Agency within Tuscola County, we are here to provide services to children with severe emotional disorders, adults with mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual/developmental disorders. This job is located in Caro, Michigan.
Pay Range:
$20.93 - $24.49 per hour Part-time position; Combination of 1st & 2nd Shift $1,000.00 sign-on bonus available - prorated based on hours worked (If eligible, first payment at 6 months; second payment at 12 months) Excellent fringe benefits package. We also offer a retirement PENSION Plan!
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent Valid Michigan driver's license and automobile insurance required Satisfactory completion of required group home curriculum training Personal qualifications of maturity Ability to communicate with other adults Ability to respond to the needs of new situations
Responsibilities:
Perform activities that facilitate individual's served independence and self-sufficiency, while promoting community inclusion and integration. Services are provided in a licensed adult foster care setting and may include assistance with activities of daily living, personal care tasks, meal preparation, household maintenance, medication management, and transportation. Demonstrates knowledge of and actively supports culturally competent, recovery based practices. We offer competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
