This position needs to collaborate with other team members, work within the production schedule, proactively maintain all tools and equipment used, and follow all safety precautions. This position requires an experienced, energetic, and detail-focused individual that wants to be a part of a growing team and company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication the drive, and skills required to be an exceptional part of our team.What You'll Be Doing:
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication specifications.
- Measure, mark, and layout materials for fabrication.
- Cut, bend, shape, and assemble metal components using hand tools and power equipment.
- Operate fabrication equipment including saws, ironworkers, presses, shears, brakes, drill presses, and grinders.
- Fit and assemble structural steel, sheet metal, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metal components.
- Inspect completed work to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Perform grinding, deburring, polishing, and finishing operations. What makes you a great fit:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience operating fabrication machinery and welding equipment.
- Strong measuring and layout skills.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
