Welder
- 2nd and Weekend Shift Standard Iron & Wire Works

MIG Welding:
Perform MIG welding on mild steel, working with materials ranging from 20 gauge to 1-inch thickness.High-Quality Fabrication:
Produce accurate, durable components following detailed work instructions and specifications.Certification Support:
Standard Iron supports you in achieving certifications relevant to your role, such as D1.1 GMAW andD1.3 GMAW.
Blueprint Reading:
Interpret welding symbols and blueprints to ensure accurate setups and welds.Tool Mastery:
Utilize a variety of metal finishing tools, including grinders and abrasives, to meet our high standards.Safe Equipment Operation:
Operate lifting devices such as cranes, positioners, magnets, and hooks efficiently, following all safety protocols.Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of one year of MIG welding experience, preferred.Skills:
Strong attention to detail, steady hand, and a true passion for quality welding work.Physical Stamina:
Ability to handle repetitive tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.Schedule:
Both Shifts Available:
2 nd Shift- Mon•Weds 4:30pm•5:00am ( Employees work three 12-hour shifts (36 hours) and are compensated for a full 40-hour workweek) Weekend Shift•Friday, Saturday, Sunday; 6:00am•6:30pm
