$100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year + bonus + per diem

Job Description:

We are a multiple time winner of the AGC of Missouri's Specialty Contractor of the Year in the category of Structural and Finished Metals, a 3-time Keystone Award recipient, and an IMPACT Project of the Year Award Winner in 2020. The first ever by a St. Louis company! This role is designated as a traveling position based out of our location in Fenton, MO. and will require work on project sites across multiple states. Candidates should have the following capabilities/ experience/ ambitions : Oversee day-to-day field operations for steel erection projects Manage and direct ironworker crews (union) Coordinate with Project Managers, General Superintendent, Detailers, and General Contractors Plan and execute steel erection sequences, crane picks, and rigging activities Ensure all work is performed competently and safely, in compliance with both project and company safety standards Review and interpret erection drawings, shop drawings, and specifications Track manpower, productivity, and project progress in the field Communicate project status, schedule updates, and field issues to project team Maintain project schedule and ensure work is completed within budget and scope Work with General Superintendent to forecast manpower needs and resolve field challenges Attend job site meetings and coordinate with customers and project stakeholders Travel as required to support ongoing and upcoming projects
Qualifications:
Required:
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent, General Foreman, or similar leadership role in steel erection Strong background in structural steel, crane coordination, and rigging operations Experience managing ironworker crews Ability to read and interpret design drawings, erection drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications Proven ability to manage multiple job sites and travel as required
Preferred:
OSHA 30 certification OSHA steel erection specific training
EM-385 COE
safety certification
EM-385 24
hr fall protection training Appropriate small equipment operating certifications Experience with multi-state or traveling construction projects Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Compensation and Benefits:
Acme offers a competitive compensation package that includes base salary, performance-based bonuses, per diem based on project location, company-provided vehicle, and a comprehensive benefits package.
