The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components and structures, ensuring they meet precise specifications and quality standards. You will work closely with other team members to interpret blueprints and project requirements. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate records for individual fabricated projects. Read blueprints, weld symbols and dimensions. Complete customer fabrications Operate machinery such as saws, welding machines, drills to cut, shape, join materials. Inspect finished products for compliance with quality standards and specifications Perform necessary adjustments and repairs to maintain product integrity Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Perform routine maintenance and report any equipment issues to supervisors Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain safe work environment All other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications and Experiences 5+ years of experience in fabrication Proven experience as a metal fabricator or similar role Experience in Mig Welding Experience with various metalworking tools and equipment Good math aptitude, problem solving and multi-tasking to meet deadlines Team Player Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Welding certifications a plus Familiarity with metal finishing processes Basic computer skills for documentation and project management Education High school diploma or equivalent required Technical or vocational training in welding, metal fabrication, or related field is preferred. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 50to 75 lbs This position requires standing for long periods of time. Able to physically maneuver equipment and projects Must be able to work overtime during the week and on weekends as needed.
