Employee Referral Program Responsibilities:
Fabricate equipment accurately and with proper procedures in a timely manner. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in fabrication process Knowledge of all types of hand tools, fabricating equipment, measuring devices Work on stainless steel fabrication, including to but not limited to: Cutting tube Operate hand grinders Polishing Bending Assembly Electro polished frame Install and maintain utility/service lines Operate overhead crane and/or forklift Physically capable of wearing protective safety glasses, ear plugs, head gear and gloves. Must be able to stand, squat, bend, work comfortably at different heights for approximately 8+ hours per day. Inspect and maintain proper and safe operation of all shop equipment Conduct operations in a safe manner Will play an active role in identifying and driving Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunity. Execute other tasks as assigned Ability to travel when required
Requirements:
Education:
High School Graduate or equivalent
Work Experience:
Two (2) years previous Fabrication experience preferred
Other Requirements:
Required to be able to perform simple math equations Must be able to read a tape measure Excellent problem solving skills Exceptional verbal communication skills Must be proficient with the use of hand tools and basic fabrication tools. Self-motivated Must be proficient in reading blue prints Necessary to be able to maintain a clean and safe working environment Typically work is in a manufacturing environment or customer's site Required to stand for long periods of time and may involve heavy manual labor. Awareness of and prior experience with implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) a plus. Prior Lean/Six Sigma experience a plus
Pay:
$21.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week

Shift Options:
First Shift:
Mon-Thurs 7:00am-3:30pm, Fri 5:00am-1:30pm
Second Shift:
Mon-Thurs 3:25pm-11:55pm, Fri 1:15pm-9:45pm How many years of fabrication experience do you have and what companies did you work for? What types of fabrication tools are you proficient with(tape measure -16th increments, pitch level, wrenches, drills, tap functions, etc.)? Can you read and interpret fabrication drawings? The starting pay for this position is $21.00 per hour, with the potential for a higher rate based on relevant experience. Is this acceptable?
