Job Description
Job Responsibilities Interpret and analyze mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications Assemble, fit, and install structural and mechanical components with high precision Perform layout, cutting, and fabrication of materials as required Conduct inspections to ensure proper alignment, fit, and functionality Safely and effectively operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete projects on schedule Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations Education and Experience High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a fitter or in a similar role Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices Must qualify as a U.S. person as defined by 22 U.S.C. § 6010
