Ship Fitter 1st Class - Gulf Coast Projects - Up to $37/hr Mississippi & Louisiana Opportunities | Overtime Available | Long-Term Projects Join a Growing Gulf Coast Marine Program AAA USA is actively hiring experienced 1st Class Ship Fitters to support major marine and shipbuilding projects throughout the Gulf Coast region. We are seeking skilled trades professionals experienced in structural fitting, blueprint reading, fabrication, and shipyard assembly environments. Company Match Responsibilities:
Read and interpret shipyard blueprints and technical drawings Fit, align, and assemble structural components for marine vessels Cut, prepare, and position steel and metal materials Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, and cutting torches Assist with hull, bulkhead, and structural assembly Work closely with welders and other shipyard trades Follow all shipyard safety procedures and quality standards
Requirements:
3+ years of ship fitting or structural fabrication experience Shipyard or heavy industrial experience preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and layouts Experience with fitting tools, torches, and measuring equipment Ability to work in physically demanding shipyard environments Must be eligible to work in the
United States Schedule:
Full-Time Day Shift / Night Shift Opportunities Overtime Available Apply Today Multiple openings available. Interviews are moving quickly due to immediate project needs across the Gulf Coast region.
Pay:
$32.00 - $37.00 per hour
