In this role, you will be responsible for constructing custom wood products with skill and attention to detail. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing a variety of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery to produce high-quality furniture components. Your expertise will contribute to custom fabrication jobs that transform spaces and meet client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your carpentry skills that will challenge your craftsmanship and creativity. Duties Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment safely and efficiently to cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood products. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute fabrication and installation tasks. Construct wood components for residential or commercial settings. Measure accurately for precise cuts and fitting; perform heavy lifting safely during material handling. Requirements Proven experience in carpentry or woodworking within the furniture industry. Skilled in using hand tools such as band saws, cut off saws, hammers; power tools including drills, sanders and heavy machinery when necessary. Ability to accurately use a tape measure. Ability to lift heavy materials regularly. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship; reliable team player with good communication skills. Pay:
$14.50 - $16.00 per hour
