On-Call Night Demolition & Junk Removal Worker Triangle Junk Removal Services is looking for reliable, experienced On-Call Junk Removal & Demolition Workers to join our team. This position is primarily focused on demolition work, especially nighttime commercial demolition projects . This is an ON-CALL position and does NOT guarantee a set number of hours, shifts, or work days. When we have a job available, we will contact you. If you are available and accept the assignment, you will be expected to report to the worksite on time and ready to work. Job Responsibilities Perform interior and light commercial demolition Remove drywall, flooring, soffits, fixtures, and other materials Safely dismantle and remove furniture, shelving, cabinets, and other items Remove materials from commercial properties and job sites Load and unload debris, furniture, and equipment Assist with junk removal and property cleanouts Sort and organize materials and debris Operate company trucks and trailers when authorized Transport materials and debris to designated disposal facilities Keep work areas clean and organized Follow all company safety procedures and instructions Work efficiently as part of a small crew Be prepared to work evenings, nights, weekends, and occasionally on short notice Requirements 21 years of age or older Previous demolition experience is required Valid driver's license Must be licensed to drive in the State of North Carolina , unless otherwise approved by the company Must be capable of safely operating company-owned trucks and trailers when assigned Must have a reliable ride to and from the worksite Must be able to arrive at the assigned worksite on time, including late-night and overnight jobs Reliable phone and communication Must be reachable when on-call Must be physically capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and moving heavy materials Able to work on your feet for extended periods Comfortable working in dusty, dirty, hot, cold, and physically demanding environments Must be comfortable working night shifts Must be able to work evenings, nights, weekends, and occasionally on short notice Must be able to follow directions and work as part of a team Must be safety-conscious and follow proper PPE and job-site safety requirements Construction, remodeling, junk removal, or general labor experience is a plus Experience using demolition tools and equipment is preferred Must have a professional attitude and be respectful to customers, contractors, and other crew members Important — On-Call Position This is an ON-CALL position. There are NO guaranteed hours, shifts, or number of jobs. When work becomes available, we will contact you. You are not required to accept every assignment. However, once you accept a job, you are expected to be dependable, arrive on time, and be prepared to complete the work.
