• Job Summary:

• Advanced Steel Welding and Mechanical LLC is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Ironworker to assist with the installation, alignment, and welding of structural steel on commercial and industrial projects. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely at heights while following OSHA regulations and project specifications.

• Duties:

• Erect, align, and secure structural steel components including beams, columns, joists, and trusses Perform field welding, bolting, and torch cutting as required by project plans Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and erection plans Rig, hoist, and guide steel members using cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment Install temporary bracing and ensure proper alignment and plumbness of structures Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times Follow OSHA safety standards, fall protection requirements, and company safety policies Communicate effectively with foremen, project managers, and crew members Assist with inspections, corrections, and punch list items as needed •

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an ironworker or structural steel installer Knowledge of structural steel erection methods and safety practices Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints Experience with welding (stick, MIG, or flux-core preferred) Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks Valid driver's license and reliable transportation •

Preferred Requirments:

• Preferred Qualifications OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification NCCER Ironworker certification AWS welding certifications Crane signaling or rigging certification
