YOUR DIFFERENCE
Fabrication & Welding Operations:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions to plan fabrication steps. Perform layout and fit-up of parts for custom assemblies. Measure, cut, bend, and shape metal components using saws, shears, plasma cutters, torches, brakes, rollers, grinders, drills, and other fabrication equipment. Fit and weld metal parts together using MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding processes to complete projects accurately and efficiently.
Quality & Safety Standards:
Inspect finished work to ensure quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, follow all shop safety standards, and assist with material handling, equipment maintenance, and project setup as needed.
Teamwork & Production Support:
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines, resolve fabrication challenges, and contribute to a culture of open communication, problem-solving, and a positive attitude.
Requirements:
YOUR EXPERIENCE
Knowledge:
High School Diploma or GED; technical training or certification in welding or metal fabrication preferred. Minimum five (5) years or more of work experience in a fabrication shop . Minimum two (2) years of experience in custom metal fabrication and welding in a role such as a Millwright, Welder, Welder / Fabricator, or similar role. Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding; experience with aluminum and stainless steel is a plus.
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings. Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
Ability:
This position is onsite at our Fremont, NE location. A drug screen is required. This position performs heavy physical tasks that may include lifting up to 60 pounds.
