Concrete Repair Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Repair Technician to perform heavy, labor-intensive concrete restoration work on commercial and infrastructure projects. This role involves chipping, grinding, patching, and structural repair in high-dust, high-intensity environments. Technicians must follow strict safety procedures, use fall-protection equipment, and wear respirators. Travel to job sites across NY and NJ is required. Responsibilities Perform heavy concrete labor including chipping, demolition, patching, and structural repair. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively. Follow construction safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE). Operate chipping guns, grinders, and other concrete repair tools. Work comfortably at heights using fall-protection systems. Wear a half-face respirator and meet fit-test requirements. Travel between NY and NJ job sites as needed. Essential Skills Strong physical stamina; ability to lift, bend, kneel, and work long hours. Ability to read and speak English; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Experience using concrete repair tools. Familiarity with construction safety protocols. Comfortable working at heights with fall-protection systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in concrete restoration, waterproofing, or structural repair preferred. Ability to work on temporary flooring, scaffolding, and elevated platforms. Must pass extensive safety training before starting. Reliable transportation to reach various job sites. Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team with primarily Spanish-speaking crews.
