Ornamental Steel Fabricator & Installer

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Ornamental Steel Fabricator & Installer to join our dynamic team. You will play a vital role in creating stunning steel products, ensuring safety standards are met, and delivering exceptional results on every project. Responsibilities Perform

MIG, TIG, FCAW

(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), D1.1 welding certificate preferred Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and install ornamental steel components. Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and welding equipment to shape and assemble steel parts. Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure fabrication accuracy. Assemble finished pieces on-site or in the shop while adhering to safety protocols and project specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use. Requirements Minimum 1 year experience with fabrication and installation of ornamental steel products such as gates, fences, doors, etc. Minimum 1 year Mig and/or Tig experience with mild steel and aluminum, D1.1 welding certificate preferred. Current Driver's License with clean driving record. Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety procedures and site protocols. Experience with CAD design and CNC plasma table proficiency preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills Ability to start and finish tasks in a timely manner Ability to work with attention to detail while maintaining and meeting deadlines Ability to take direction and work independently Ability to work 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced construction environments.
