• Polishes, grinds, and cleans metal surfaces.
• Removes excess weld as needed.
• Cleans welds to remove discoloration.
• Removes sharp edges by deburring.
• Performs minor final assembly work.
• Performs final inspection to ensure product conformance to internal and external standards.
• Work with measuring tools and other equipment to verify the dimensions, tolerances, and other critical features of the product.
• Actively keeps the work area clean and organized
• Maintains tools and tooling inventory.
• Perform assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner, without exposing yourself or other employees to unnecessary risk of injury.
• Follows all ASMIE and safety procedures/guidelines to ensure a safe work environment including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and using appropriate safety equipment and tools.
• Collaborate with other team members, such as Fabricators and welders, to ensure tanks are produced to the required specifications and quality standards.
• All other duties as assigned.
