You will manage daily workshop operations, perform club repairs, support store operations, and enhance customer experience through expert craftsmanship and product knowledge. You will contribute to sales initiatives, inventory management, and store operations while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and service.
RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Club Repair & Building Responsible for club repairs, custom builds, and ensuring high-quality workmanship. Responsible for assembling golf clubs according to fitters' specifications while ensuring precision, durability, and overall customer satisfaction. Enhance building processes, ensure rigorous quality control, and optimize overall workshop operations for improved efficiency. 2. Fitting Facilities & Equipment Management Ensure all fitting tools, software, and machines are used exclusively for club fitting and testing by qualified personnel. Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and fully functional workspace while ensuring all equipment remains in optimal condition. Track, manage, and replenish necessary supplies, tools, and materials to support seamless fitting and repair services. 3. Off-the-Shelf Club Sales & Customer Support To serve customers, providing expert advice on off-the-shelf clubs and custom specifications. Educate customers on adjustable club settings, equipment selection, and golf ball fitting. To promote and increase brand fittings, educating consumers on the benefits of professional club fitting. 4. Operational & Event Support Work closely with pro shop staff, managers, and suppliers to optimize operations and sales. Assist in nationwide club fitting sessions, demo days, corporate golf programs, and tour support as needed. To provide post-fitting support and guidance to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term engagement. 5. Sales Commitment Achieve or exceed weekly sales target, proactive in assist in implementing and enhancing the club fitting and building system to support sales growth. Execute in store marketing and promotional displays based on company's guidelines and support local golf sales events Demonstrate product knowledge and continuous learning for latest golf products, trends, and promotions to service customers' inquiries 6. Inventory Management Monitor stock levels to ensure shelves are always well-stocked, tidy, and reflect accurate inventory levels to avoid customer dissatisfaction Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in cycle counts and annual stock takes to maintain inventory accuracy and prevent shrinkage Assist in coordinating with stock merchandisers and report low-stock or overstock situations to the team to support inventory management.
Experience and Skills:
1-2 years of experience in golf club technician and repair. Strong technical knowledge of golf clubs and components. Hands-on experience with club repair tools. Proven experience in achieving sales targets and KPIs Strong clients focus with an ability to build lasting relationships Exceptional verbal and presentation skills Positive, collaborative, and goal-oriented team member Friendly, professional demeanour with effective communication Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment Demonstrates punctuality, honesty, and discipline Self-motivated, driven, and open to feedback Able to commit to rotating shifts (opening & closing hrs)
