Position Summary The Installation Technician Level II is responsible for fabricating, inspecting, and installing fall protection components safely, on time, and within budget, while providing guidance to other installers. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, adaptability to onsite conditions, attention to detail, and professionalism when interacting with coworkers, customers, and vendors. Full-time with frequent overtime, it involves weekly travel up to 95% of working hours. This position is essential to meeting customer demands for fall protection system implementation. Essential Job Functions Layout and installation of fall protection systems on job sites nationwide under the direction of Project Managers. Support Level I and III Installation Technicians, Supervisors, and Field Foremen with various project-related tasks. Perform equipment testing and certification in accordance with engineering guidelines under supervision. Adhere to all company and site-specific safety policies and procedures at all times. Accurately complete and submit project documentation, including redlines, test logs, daily reports, safety meeting records, and job site photos. Maintain detailed and accurate time keeping records, per diem, and travel activity. Perform general labor tasks as needed, including job packing, tool organization, and anchor preparation. Demonstrate initiative, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to continuously improving skills and performance. Regularly read and interpret construction drawings, track on-site inventory, and complete documentation with accuracy. Operate a skid steer and attachments for auger power units, specifically auger bits. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Required Qualifications Trade school graduate and/or higher-level education Advanced knowledge of hand tools and general construction practices 2+ years' experience operating small cranes and boom trucks 2+ years' experience in concrete footings, tying steel, excavating, operating a skid steer, man lifts, soil and compaction Strong commitment to safety and ability to follow established procedures and instructions Willingness and ability to work at heights in varying field conditions, including rooftops and extreme temperatures Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and meeting PPE requirements (PPE provided) Flexible and adaptable to schedule changes, travel demands (up to 95%), and dynamic job site conditions Reliable transportation to job sites and airports; must possess a smartphone capable of running required apps (e.g., Outlook, Teams, HCMToGo) Self-motivated, detail-oriented team player with strong customer service focus and leadership potential Field construction means and methods background Experience with ironworking tools: mag drills, port-a-band, drill, etc. Experience with scissor lifts, aerial lifts, forklifts Eagerness to learn field construction methods and contribute positively to a team-driven environment Preferred Qualifications Fabrication, installation and/or construction-related experience AISC Steel Construction, foundations, Hilti anchor knowledge

Fall Protection standards knowledge Pre-Employment Requirements High School diploma or GED Valid Driver's License & Evidence of Ability to Insure Criminal Justice Background Check (state and federal) Drug Test (5-panel) E-Verify eligibility verification Physical Requirements Must be able to regularly lift and maneuver up to 75 lbs without assistance and perform strenuous physical labor for 8+ hours per day, including climbing, overhead work, kneeling, squatting, crawling, pulling, and heavy lifting, often at elevation or while suspended from structures. Requires frequent and extended climbing of ladders, towers, scaffolding, and buildings, and working suspended in fall protection harnesses, sometimes in awkward or confined positions, and often on sloped, uneven, or unstable surfaces with minimal guardrails. Must tolerate extreme environmental conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, direct sunlight, airborne particles, dust, fumes, vibration, and mechanical hazards. Requires full range of motion, physical agility, and strong fine/gross motor coordination to navigate tight spaces, transition across structural elements, and operate hand and power tools safely at height. Must adhere to strict safety protocols and be able to wear and function in required PPE for extended periods, including but not limited to harnesses, helmets, respirators, gloves, durable long pants and steel-toed boots. Must be able to safely attach and operate fall protection systems rated for a total all-in weight capacity of 310lbs Must have the ability to travel up to 95%, including to all 50 states and international destinations (valid passport required if eligible), and possess visual and auditory acuity to detect hazards and ensure safety compliance. Work Schedule This is a full-time position. The work schedule for this position varies depending on client location and operational requirements. This position may require hours beyond standard working hours to satisfy job duties and department demand. Company Benefits Benefit eligibility begins on the first of the month following the completion of 30 days of employment.
