Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Metals Fabricator to join our production team in building high-quality commercial roll-off dumpsters. The ideal candidate has experience working with heavy-gauge steel, interpreting blueprints, and performing precise fabrication using a variety of tools and equipment. This role requires a strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications. Measure, cut, bend, and shape steel components using saws, torches, grinders, and press brakes. Perform MIG welding on heavy-gauge steel for structural fabrication and assembly. Fit and assemble components to exact tolerances, ensuring structural integrity. Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment as required. Inspect finished work to verify quality and conformance to standards. Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a safe and orderly condition. Follow all company safety procedures, including PPE requirements and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in metal fabrication, preferably in heavy manufacturing. Proficiency in MIG welding with strong weld quality and consistency. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings. Experience with fabrication equipment such as press brakes, shears, and plasma cutters. Strong math and measurement skills. Safety-focused with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Preferred:
Experience in roll-off container or trailer manufacturing. AWS welding certification (MIG/structural). Forklift and overhead crane operation certification.
