Job Description
Metal Fabricator Streetsboro, Ohio | Full-Time | First Shift About the Opportunity Pilgrimage Search is partnering with a growing custom metal fabrication company in the Streetsboro, Ohio area to identify an experienced Metal Fabricator. This position is ideal for a hands-on craftsman who enjoys building custom products from raw materials and takes pride in precision workmanship. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints, laying out projects, cutting and fitting materials, and assisting with fabrication and assembly operations. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication specifications Measure, mark, cut, fit, and assemble steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components Operate fabrication equipment including saws, ironworkers, drill presses, grinders, and plasma cutters Perform layout work and ensure dimensional accuracy throughout fabrication Prepare materials for welding and final assembly Perform MIG and TIG welding as needed during fabrication and assembly processes Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards Maintain a safe and organized work environment Collaborate with production teams to meet project schedules and deadlines Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in metal fabrication Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings Experience with layout, fitting, cutting, and assembly operations Working knowledge of fabrication equipment and hand tools Basic to intermediate MIG and TIG welding experience Strong mathematical and measuring skills Commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail High School Diploma or GED required Trade school or vocational training preferred Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift 50+ pounds Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in a fabrication environment throughout the shift Comfortable working around fabrication equipment, heat, and metal materials Benefits Competitive Compensation 401(k) with Company Match Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program Paid Time Off (PTO)
