You should have 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with a construction equipment or equipment rental background. Intermediate experience with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engines on heavy construction equipment. Experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshoot/diagnose malfunctions and repair equipment. Must have the necessary basic tool set you need to perform the scope of equipment repairs. Eager to learn and grow; open to training on new equipment, technologies, and repair techniques to stay current in a fast-evolving industry. Attention to detail inspecting, servicing, and testing equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications. Basic understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods. Safety oriented, maintaining industry and Sunstate safety standards performing equipment repairs.
