Description Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced
MIG / TIG
Welders for projects located in or around Brownsville, OR . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $24-$32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Perform MIG and/or TIG welding in a shop fabrication environment Complete occasional field welding and installation projects Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols Fit, fabricate, and weld components to specifications Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum Grind, finish, and inspect completed welds Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow OSHA standards and company safety procedures
Requirements:
Experience with MIG and/or TIG welding Strong fabrication and fitting skills Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Willingness to travel occasionally for short-duration projects Ability to lift materials and work in both shop and field environments Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Preferred:
Structural steel and miscellaneous metal fabrication Carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum welding Plasma cutting and oxy-fuel torch operation Grinding, finishing, and weld inspection Material layout and fit-up Experience with aluminum Forklift or skid steer experience (preferred but not required) " Be Safe" from fraud!
