full-time Company Description Iron Mountain Fabrication is currently taking applications for several positions for fitter/welders aka Fabricators. Iron Mountain Fabrication, LLC is a growing company that specializes in custom structural, miscellaneous, and alloy metal fabrication and welding services. Based in Central Oregon, we proudly serve clients locally as well as across the Pacific Northwest and Rocky Mountains. In addition to fabricated products, we collaborate with industry leaders to design and manufacture custom overhead and jib crane systems. With a commitment to quality and precision, we aim to deliver innovative solutions tailored to our customers' needs. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Fabricator at our location in Prineville, OR. The Fabricator will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings, cutting and assembling materials, welding, and finishing fabricated components. Additional tasks include using hand tools and machinery to fabricate components, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards, and collaborating with the production team to meet project timelines. A commitment to safety, attention to detail, and precision is essential for this role. Qualifications Must know how to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Must have experience in metal fabrication, cutting, and assembly processes Must have experience in welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, or stick welding Must have the ability to operate machinery and tools like grinders, saws, and drills Strong attention to detail, quality control, and adherence to safety standards Capability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting Experience with crane system fabrication is a plus High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or relevant certifications preferred
