Sheet Metal Installer/ metal roofing installer

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Installer / Metal Roofing Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining sheet metal and metal roofing systems on various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help ensure high-quality craftsmanship, durability, and safety on every job site. Responsibilities Measure and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install sheet metal and roofing components. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal materials according to project specifications. Install metal roofing panels, flashing, gutters, vents, and other related components with precision and attention to detail. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Coordinate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards. Conduct site inspections during installation to verify proper alignment, sealing, caulking, and finishing techniques. Assist in the removal or restoration of existing roofing systems when necessary, ensuring minimal disruption to the property. Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings. Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, and caulking guns; experience with power tools including drills, saws, and metal shears. Familiarity with roofing systems, metal stud framing, masonry, plumbing rough-ins, drywall installation (trim carpentry), stucco application, tile laying, welding, and concrete forming is highly desirable. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on roofing or sheet metal installation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina throughout the workday. Knowledge of fabrication techniques for custom metal components; ability to read schematics accurately. Prior handyman experience or experience in restoration projects is a plus.
