As a Flat Rate Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of vehicle systems while delivering high-quality workmanship in an efficient manner. Successful candidates will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do:

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles according to manufacturer and dealership standards Inspect, diagnose, and repair engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, and electrical systems Utilize diagnostic equipment and service information systems to identify and resolve vehicle concerns Perform factory-recommended maintenance services and vehicle inspections Accurately document repair orders, findings, and completed work Communicate repair needs and recommendations with service advisors and management Maintain productivity and efficiency while ensuring quality workmanship Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Participate in ongoing training to stay current with automotive technology and manufacturer requirements

Employee discounts Company-issued uniforms State-of-the-art equipment and facilities Requirements Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license Previous automotive technician experience required Strong diagnostic and repair skills across multiple vehicle systems ASE Certifications preferred but not required Manufacturer certifications are a plus Ability to operate diagnostic tools, scan tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, flat-rate environment Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and positive attitude Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset Must be willing to complete a background check and drug screening Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with automotive repair Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
