Cumberland, RI Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Savvy Staffing is hiring an experienced Metal Fabricator for a well-established and expanding manufacturing company in Cumberland, RI. If you have hands-on fabrication experience, enjoy working with precision equipment, and want to be part of a team that values quality, safety, and continuous improvement, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Set up workstations, materials, and equipment for daily production. Operate and support fabrication equipment, including: Amada Press Brakes PEM Machines Spot Welders Assist with workflow coordination and support team productivity. Train and mentor new employees on equipment operation, safety procedures, and manufacturing processes. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and production processes. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure production goals are met. Maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures. Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe. Perform additional duties as needed to support manufacturing operations. What We're Looking For Experience in metal fabrication or a related manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, product drawings, and technical specifications. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and continuous improvement. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Previous experience as a Metal Fabricator, Production Lead, Production Supervisor, or similar manufacturing role preferred. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 35+ pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
