Job Description
Seeking an experienced Structural Steel Detailer to support industrial projects from early planning through fabrication and installation who has project management skills. This role offers the opportunity to contribute beyond detailing by supporting coordination, scheduling, and cost awareness. Responsibilities
- Produce accurate structural steel shop and erection drawings
- Review and interpret engineering and architectural drawings
- Coordinate with fabrication, erection, and project teams to ensure accuracy
- Support project planning, scheduling, and scope development
- Assist with material takeoffs and estimating support
- Provide technical input during project reviews
- Maintain quality, safety, and industry standards Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of structural steel detailing experience
- Proficiency with Tekla, SDS/2, AutoCAD, or similar software
- Strong understanding of steel fabrication and erection practices
- Experience supporting project management or estimating functions
- Ability to read and interpret complex drawings
